1. Who we are
aivisible.site (“we”, “us”) provides AI visibility audits for businesses in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described in this notice.

2. The short version
There are two quite different things happening here, and it is only fair to separate them.
If you contact us, we hold your email address and what you told us about your business, so we can run your audit and reply to you. Nothing is sold, and there is no marketing list.
If we audit your sector, we may have analysed information your business has already published on the open web — before you asked us to, and possibly before you had heard of us. Section 5 explains why, and how to make us stop.
3. Information you give us

We do not buy contact data, we do not sell yours, and we do not use it to train any model.
4. Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request as a normal part of loading the page.
5. Information about businesses we audit
An audit works by asking AI assistants the questions a buyer in that sector would ask, and recording which businesses are named. To make sense of the answers we also look at what those businesses have published themselves — their website, their prices and terms, their listed accreditations, and public directory or regulator entries.
This is all information already published on the open web. We do not attempt to access anything behind a login, and we do not bypass any technical measure that refuses us.
Our lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interests: assessing how businesses in a sector appear to AI assistants, so we can tell them something they cannot otherwise find out. We have weighed this against the interests of the businesses concerned. The information is public, it concerns them in their business capacity, and the output is offered to them at no cost.
When this is personal data
Information about a company is usually not personal data. But a sole trader or a partnership is an individual in law, and a named person on a company page — a director, a named adviser — is an identifiable individual. Where our audit covers those, it is processing personal data, and the rights in section 7 apply in full.
Audit pages
Audit results are published at an unguessable address under /a/, marked so that
search engines do not index them, and are removed after 90 days. Each page carries the date it
was measured, because the underlying figures move.
Making us stop
Email success@aivisible.site and we will take the page down and exclude your business from future runs. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you for one.
6. Who else is involved
We use a small number of established suppliers, who process information only on our instructions:

Some of these are based outside the UK. Where information is transferred abroad it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: ask what we hold about you and get a copy; have it corrected; have it deleted; object to processing based on legitimate interests, including everything in section 5; ask us to restrict what we do with it; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was lawful beforehand.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, but it is your right either way.
8. Marketing email
We contact businesses about their audit results. Every message says who it is from and carries a one-click way to stop hearing from us, which we act on immediately and permanently. If you are a sole trader or a partnership we contact you only where you have consented, or where you are an existing client and the message concerns a similar service.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry details is limited to the people who need it. We keep as little as possible for as short a time as we can, which is the most effective security measure available to a business of our size.
10. Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects people we already hold information about, we will tell them directly.
